Grade 11 Course Information

In this course, students will be learning along with students from the Core French 12 course as well.

Instead of group work, students will work independently and get more chances to learn on their own.

Teachers will expect students already know basic introductions, grammar and phrases.

French 10 is required in order to take this course.​
Grade 10 Course Information

Start shifting the focus from participation in class to oral and written presentations, since students have already learned most of the fundamentals for French.

Students will continue working on the difference between past, present and future terms.
​

Oral and written texts have an increased level of complexity compared.

After taking the French 10 course, students should be able to use a moderate level of French with minor errors.

Grade 12 Course Information

French 10 is a large leap from the Grade 9 French course.
-
At this point, student’s French skills should be mostly fully developed and should only have minor mistakes.

In this course, students will have an acting project that requires students to do a skit entirely in French.
​
​

Since this is the highest level of French within Palmer, students have a mandatory final test, the LTF Exam, to test their oral and written abilities.
​
-
This course is mainly taken by students who want to have a language course in their curriculum and decide to learn French.
