French is a very useful language for those planning to go to the European countries, since most of the French-speakers are based in Europe. There are over 310 million French speakers in the world! This means that if you learn to speak French, it could increase your opportunities to make friends, as well as having a wider variety of job opportunities than only English speakers!

3. Opens Up More Job Opportunities

Since there aren't too many French people all around the world, some jobs like translators is a well-paying career! For example, a translator in Canada can earn more than $85,000 per year (Pay depends on work experience)! Higher paying areas are usually also those who lack the most translators. Specifically in Canada, Toronto and Ottawa have the highest paying salaries. French can also help with non-French related jobs as well! If students decide to work in a more French-based environment, knowing some French can really help one to adapt and interact easier with the environment.
Conclusion:
In the end, learning French in high school can help in a long way in the future! Although people might need it right now, French could help students if they decide to travel to a French speaking country, or it can help navigate a French-based work environment easier!
2. Relationships
Students who learn French can also make many friends! People can make friends who only speak French if the take Palmer's French courses. Having more friends is also very helpful for daily life! They can help you fill in for important tasks, teach you things you don't understand, and much more!
