French 9 Information

  • Continues building upon ideas learned in Grade 8 French.

  • Includes previously learned French vocabulary to real-life situations and phrases.

  • They will help focus on these skills by having students engage in conversations, acting, as well as written quizzes/tests.

  • French 8 teachers will focus on building students oral skills, participation in classes and basics of the french language.

  • Students will learn topics like greetings, family and friends, and words that describe daily life (Shopping, weather, house, etc.)

Although taking French 8 a requirement, the skills you can take from this course can help you easily learn other languages as well. French 9 is important as well! Since you already learned the basics in French 8, taking French 9 can give you an advantage over other French courses!
